KCMT, a company specializing in producing eco-friendly steel substitute materials, will be held in Munich, Germany from the 17th to the 22nd.It announced on the 18th that it will participate in "BAU 2023" and promote KEco, an eco-friendly replacement for rebars.

The International Architecture Exhibition (BAU) is the world's largest comprehensive architecture fair held every two years in Munich, Germany.

Industrial architecture, residential architecture, indoor interior, etc. are all displayed, and energy-saving building systems, intelligent internal systems, and future-oriented.High-tech excellent products will be on display.

KEco is used in many places, including buildings, bridges, railroads, tunnels, airports, and floors, as a substitute for eco-friendly rebars.

Reinforcing bars, which are often used in concrete structures, are produced at high temperatures of 1,600°C or higher in steel mills. However, since KEco is produced at much lower temperatures, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are reduced by more than 73%.

KCMT's economic effect of reducing carbon emissions when operating its third plant in 2025 amounted to 87.3 billion won (613.2 billion won when applying the price of European carbon rights).Colorless waste PETs are expected to be recycled annually.

As a single factory, KCMT Smart Factory is equipped with the world's largest eco-friendly rebar substitution production facility.
